World Council of Credit Unions

World Council acts as the leading voice for global advocacy and development on behalf of the international credit union community. World Council continues to promote economic freedom and the sustainable growth of financial cooperatives across the globe through education, collaboration and community-based development projects.

World Council is governed by a board of directors that represents its member organizations. The organization and its subsidiaries are headquartered in Madison, Wis., in the United States. World Council also has a permanent office in Washington, D.C., and program offices worldwide.

Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions

The Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions (CCCU) was established on 17th August 1972 in Dominica, as the successor of the West Indies Conference of Credit Societies (WICCS) and serves as the apex trade and development organization for financial and non-financial co operatives in the Caribbean.

Essentially, the Confederation monitors economic and financial trends in the region and the world and assists affiliates to articulate clearly their own individual roles as they enhance and advance the co-operative difference. The CCCU also stimulates and generates knowledge exchange through discussions on issues impacting Credit Unions and other Co-operatives, so that the goals and vision of the Movement can be realised.

The CCCU is an affiliate of the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) and represents the Caribbean Diaspora as part of the over 186 million members of the credit union sector.

Caribbean Insurance Society Limited

CUNA Caribbean Insurance Society Limited (CCIS) is a member of the worldwide CUNA Mutual Group and is the recognized insurance carrier for credit unions and affiliated groups throughout the Caribbean region. CUNA Caribbean Insurance has been sinuring credit unoins and their members for over 55 years.
