The Saint Lucia Co-operative Credit Union League Ltd. hosted its 2026 Annual Credit Union Fun Walk on Sunday, May 24th, bringing together members, staff, families and supporters from across the Credit Union Sector for a morning of movement, wellness and community connection.
The Annual Credit Union Fun Walk is a community event designed to promote the connection between physical wellness and financial stability. Through the initiative, SLUCCULL continues to encourage Credit Union members and the wider community to embrace healthier lifestyles while also reflecting on the importance of financial well-being in everyday life.
This year’s walk began promptly at 5:30 AM, with participants encouraged to arrive early for warm-ups before taking on the route. The walk started at the Brewery and ended at the Piaye Playing Field via Augier, creating an energetic and meaningful experience for all who participated.
The event welcomed adults, children and families, with registration set at $30 for adults, $25 for children ages 10 to 17 and free participation for children under 10. Participants were encouraged to contact or visit their respective Credit Unions for registration details and participation packages.

The Fun Walk also served as an opportunity to strengthen relationships among Credit Unions, members and communities. By bringing people together outside of the traditional financial services environment, the event encouraged fellowship, teamwork and a stronger sense of sector-wide connection.
